Starting in 1960 as a tiny vacation home rental service on the North Carolina coast, Emerald Isle Realty has evolved to become a best-in-class vacation home rental powerhouse. Annually, the company manages hundreds of properties for homeowners and rents to thousands of families during all seasons.
From the beginning, the company has focused on renting to families. Recent research suggested that in spite of very high satisfaction reported by clients, people who had not used their service saw them as just another rental group.
BBG determined that the pillar that built the business – its commitment to the family client – was as strong as ever. There seemed nothing that needed “fixing” from a classical rebranding point of view. Our recommendation was to strategically refocus their annual collateral materials (print and digital), making them more whimsical and family friendly.
